Dandly helps local service businesses get discovered, routed, and booked through AI assistants, assistant-connected surfaces, discovery partners, and Dandly-operated flows. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and when we share it.

This policy applies when you use the Dandly website, interact with a Dandly demo, submit business onboarding details, request a service through an assistant flow powered by Dandly, or use a booking or review link sent through Dandly.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Business details such as business name, services, location, hours, intake fields, routing instructions, and onboarding notes.
  • Contact details such as name, phone number, email address, and business contact information.
  • Booking details such as requested service, preferred time, postal code, notes, and other intake details needed to route a request.
  • Messages sent through forms, email, SMS-linked flows, or support channels.

Information we collect while operating the service

  • Booking status data such as requested, confirmed, canceled, declined, completed, no-show, or rescheduled states.
  • Operational records tied to booking links, confirmation actions, reschedule requests, and support follow-up.
  • Website and product usage data such as browser type, IP address, pages visited, timestamps, and basic analytics events.
  • System logs and diagnostics used to keep the service reliable and secure.

3. How information reaches Dandly

Information can come to us in a few different ways:

  • Directly from you on our website or in a Dandly-operated demo.
  • From a business during onboarding or booking follow-up.
  • From an AI assistant or assistant-connected surface that uses Dandly to structure or route a request.
  • From a discovery or referral partner when that partner sends a request into Dandly.

4. How we use information

  • Structure business information into an AI-bookable profile.
  • Route service requests to the right business or provider.
  • Create, update, confirm, cancel, or reschedule bookings.
  • Send booking updates, review links, reminders, and operational messages by email, SMS, or other supported channels.
  • Support assistant handoffs, discovery workflows, and partner integrations.
  • Prevent abuse, investigate issues, and improve product quality.
  • Meet legal obligations and enforce our terms.

5. When we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share information only when needed to run the service.

  • With the business receiving or managing a booking request.
  • With service providers that help us run Dandly, such as hosting, messaging, analytics, verification, and infrastructure vendors.
  • With AI assistant platforms, assistant surfaces, or discovery partners involved in the request you started.
  • With professional advisors, law enforcement, or regulators when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, or the platform.
  • As part of a financing, merger, acquisition, or asset transfer if the business changes ownership.

6. AI assistants and third-party services

Dandly is built to work across third-party assistant surfaces and service providers. If you start a request inside an AI assistant, discovery partner, or integrated service, that platform may also receive and process the information you submit there.

Dandly may also use third-party tools for messaging, phone verification, hosting, analytics, and product operations. Those providers process information on our behalf or as part of the workflow you initiated.

7. Retention

We keep information for as long as it is reasonably needed to operate onboarding, booking, support, fraud prevention, billing, and recordkeeping. Some data may be kept longer when required for disputes, legal obligations, or platform security.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information. No system is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

9. Your choices

You can contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of information we control, subject to operational and legal limits. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

If you receive booking messages through Dandly and believe they were sent in error, contact us and we will review the issue.

We may update this policy as the product evolves. When we do, we will post the updated version here and change the effective date.
